Mark has been working in IT for over 14 years, most of this time spent working in or around education. He helps create, develop and manage all the new and existing web services Primary Technology muster, as well as ensuring everything runs smoothly. A very busy lad!×
Adam graduated from Loughborough University in 2005, spending a year roaming Australia before joining Primary Technology in 2006. Adam has worked across many areas of the company, helping to automate internal processes and reduce overheads. Adam's current role is split between overseeing the financial administration of the company and designing / creating web services.×
Aaron started installing audio visual systems for family and friends in his teenage years. Performing a number of roles since completing his apprenticeship, from fabrication to joinery, leading to a 5 year stint as a satellite and aerial installations engineers. Aaron joined PrimaryT six months ago looking to expand his skills in larger audio visual installs. Outside of work Aaron enjoys watching motor racing and practicing archery.×
Adam started in a technical support role on a term time basis at a Business and Enterprise College in Lancashire. Two years in, Adam had a management role in a 1500 pupil Community College. In 2009 Adam happened upon a job advert in the T&A. A few weeks later and he was hitting the tarmac with the Primary Technology team.×
After graduating from Trinity Academy sixth form, Adam started out as a software developer in Manchester working on large Java projects in the financial sector. Now he is wanting to put his people skills and creative thinking ability to better use to help our business move forward.×
Adrian first entered the school’s IT support business in 2004. After completing his apprenticeship he worked for a further 3 years working with SIMS, FMS and CMIS for the local LEA ICT helpdesk. Joining Primary Technology in 2008, Adrian has honed his skills and brought his experience of SIMS and FMS to the company. Recently Adrian has moved out of schools to start the company service desk providing support for both our clients and his colleagues.×
Working in the IT Industry since leaving college Ben has been installing various equipment from computers to till systems, particularly infrastructure hardware and doors systems. Outside of work Ben is a big rugby fan, playing since the age of 6 and following his beloved Leeds Rhinos.×
Bex has been an Administrator in finance for two years before coming to work at Primary Technology. She is looking forward to taking on new challenges in a different environment. Outside of work she enjoys writing and playing ukulele.×
After flying through a two year course in Sports Leadership Callum soon discovered that his interest in computers and technology was too much to ignore. After proving his technical ability and outstanding people skills in a work experience period Callum was swooped up by Primary Technology and his well-earned career in IT started to blossom.×
After leaving university, Callum landed a job at Primary Technology in summer 2017. With a passion for IT, Callum is looking forward to taking on challenges presented by working in IT, and having the chance to hone his skills. Outside of work, Callum enjoys biking, photography and making things, most notably prototype electric vehicles.×
Chris first started working in ICT in 2004 as an onsite technician in Keighley, after finishing an IT course at college. He stayed there for 3 years maintaining their curriculum network and working hand in hand with the school staff until he was offered a job by an external IT provider. After working there for 5 years and supporting many primary schools across the North West, he made the jump to join the Primary Technology team in 2012.×
Being one of the newest members of the team, Chris has worked in the Education sector for the last 4 years with schools all over the country. Having spent a number of years helping schools with their website and VLE implementation, Chris has taken on a new challenge at Primary Technology overseeing Sales and Marketing whilst invigorating our product portfolio.×
Dan started working as an AV and networking installer for Primary Technology in 2011, having previously worked in AV sales. Because of his meticulous attention to detail, Dan became the lead site installer, and is also an expert in Fibre Optic installations. He enjoys riding motorbikes, club racing and climbing in his spare time.×
David began in the world of ICT consulting and supporting local businesses in Yorkshire whilst studying at Bradford University. After graduating he gained a technical role at Queensbury High School. David has worked for Primary Technology over the last 7 years consulting with schools, recruiting staff members, providing technical support and developing the range of services at Primary Technology.×
David first got his hands on computer systems at the age of 4, since then he's never taken his hands off computer technology. After supporting IT in small offices for the past few years, he now wants to take his skills to the next level and become fully qualified as a technical support engineer through his apprenticeship with Primary Technology. In his spare time David enjoys playing football, watching motor racing and making use of old hardware he finds around the house.×
Emma graduated in 2011 and has since enjoyed working as a web designer and taking on freelance projects. Having never worked in education before, she is looking forward to a new challenge and will be looking after PrimaryBlogger and school websites.×
Gemma has over 15 years Accountancy experience. Starting her career as an Office Junior she worked her way up to a Finance Manager role, and then Accounts Controller for a number of years in her previous job working for a large online retailer. She currently works for Primary T as our credit controller. She spends most of her spare time training in Muay Thai, running with her Boxer Dog and assisting in the teaching of Kick Boxing and Muay Thai to young children and teenagers.×
Ibby has always had an interest in IT since he was young abd did an apprenticeship in IT and Telecoms. Always knowing he wanted to work in schools, he then went on to working in VOIP and SIP telecommunications for 2 years before finally getting his chance to join Primary T and work in schools.×
Jack started in the ICT world at a Catholic secondary school in Burnley. After 4 years he was moved to a large Community College to be part of the ICT Support Team. Supporting and developing specific projects over 5 years and looking for a change from working with the teenage generation, Jack joined Primary Technology in 2010. He works on various projects, the most prevalent being the automatic computer inventory system, PTInventory.×
Janet was formerly a teacher with over 30 years experience in Bradford Primary Schools, but decided to take early retirement in 2008. The question of how to fill her days after such a busy professional life was answered when Adam asked her to help out with some admin work for Primary Technology, and the rest, as they say, is history. Janet’s role has grown with the company and she has added many new skills to her organisational ability.×
Kieran studied Games Development at Bradford College, after which he wanted to move forward with an apprenticeship. After coming across Primary Technology and the staff bio’s on the website being as enthusiastic about the company as they are he wanted to know more about the company. One great interview later and it’s great to have him as part of the team.×
Lauren studied Systems Support and Networking at Shipley College, then moved into the ICT world through an apprenticeship based in a Halifax primary school. Lauren joined Primary Technology in 2017 and is enjoying providing support to more schools.×
Mark, (Marek) is a recent addition to Primary T. Mark’s roots are in other industries but his interest in computing technologies has led to him changing tack. As an installations engineer Mark is looking forward to the challenges of meeting customer needs, expanding and growing in the ever changing field of I.T and complementing an already strong team. His enjoyment of hands on involvement makes installations a good place to start.×
Matt first worked for Primary Technology for his work experience. Upon completing secondary school he worked for a year before joining the Primary Technology ranks through an apprenticeship. Starting by learning at the side of other technicians, he has now taken on his own schools and has high hopes for the future.×
Mike began his career at Primary Technology in 2011 as an AV/network Engineer, during this time he took on the role of managing the companies Digital Signage Solutions. Recently he has changed roles and now as part of the Web Services team, he is responsible for looking after services such as School Email, School Backups and Remote Access among other duties.×
Rob joined PrimaryT as a fresh faced graduate back in 2009. He started out working in the technical support team plying his trade and learning new skills for the next 5 years.×
Steve comes from a background in corporate IT for large financial services institutions. He brings with him a sense of the corporate ethos to data integrity and change management. Since moving into the educational sector he has worked within primary schools of all sizes and levels of technical development to improve and streamline their ICT delivery.×
After stacking shelves Tom wanted a change in career. He applied for apprenticeships until he was hired at a Secondary School in Cottingley where he completed his apprenticeship six months ahead of schedule.
After working at the secondary school he went on to work in a Helpdesk role in Leeds. Working there helped him realise that he much preferred a much more hands on approach to providing IT support, especially in a school environment. After landing a job at Primary Technology Tom hasn't looked back and is excited to be supporting schools once again.
