We know your school relies on IT for day-to-day running and will place further reliance on technology should you face a school closure for an extended period. We have plans in place to support all customers which are laid out below.
You can always contact us on 01274 649731. Service Desk hours are 8am – 5pm and you can add jobs 24/7 in the normal manner using our online job logging system.
We will continue to provide on-site technical support until advised otherwise. We will keep you updated should any of our technical support team be unavailable and we have advised all staff to follow government advice in regards to self-isolation.
In the event of school closures, we have provisions in place to move all mobile technicians into a remote (from home) Service Desk. To provide the best level of support, your technician will be available for remote support – simply call the Service Desk and you can be put directly through to your technician. Technicians will continue working on any issues that they can solve remotely whilst schools remain closed to ensure as many issues are resolved for when schools re-open.
Our service desk and technical support team are working to ensure your remote access services are configured and running correctly. We’re also setting up new remote access solutions where required, although this can be a lengthy process as it can rely on third parties. Please contact us if you are unsure of your school’s remote access solution.
Any member of your staff working from home can also contact our service desk if they are having issues using remote access.
Since 17th March, we have all office staff working from home where possible, with on-site meetings rearranged as phone calls. We have a skeleton team in the office to run services, with contingency plans in place should all staff be required to work from home. We do not expect any disruption to our service desk or your ability to receive technical support.
Our website content team are working remotely but can still be contacted via our office phone number or the usual email address. A same-day response can still be expected but response times are likely to be slightly increased as many schools will be updating websites on a regular basis.
Our installations team are aware of the potential restrictions for visiting schools but will continue to operate as normal until otherwise advised. If you have scheduled works due to take place at your school that cannot be completed due to access restrictions please can you contact us as soon as possible to re-arrange.
